By the way this is me

    Greetings, I am Jayden Capuano. I am 16 years old, and in the Eleventh Grade. I am a Junior in high school. Looking very forward to graduating and escaping this purgatory. I have received word that I am beginning my final task. This project is the introduction do a movie, which does captivate my interest. I would consider myself to be quite an artistic induvial. In my free time, I like to draw things in my book. This activity unfortunately does extent to when I am in school, and it is a pretty big distraction. I am also used to drawing stuff like trains since as far back as I can remember. I used to live in New York, and I was exposed to a lot of different railroads and the subway. This is probably why I have such a big interest in them. I like to swim and go to the beach from time to time as well. I am also starting to familiarize myself with the surroundings of where I live. This could potentially help me find a nice spot for filming. On the contrast, I am more of an indoors person. Recently since I've been occupied with schoolwork and actual job work leaving not much time in between. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and goofing off too. Now that I am starting my final task, I need to get my stuff in order. Hopefully, during the time I spend on the project I start dropping bad habits.

Setting up the date for filming

  Picking the date for the film may seem easy, but there are many factors that come into play when doing so. Depending on when we are the most available, we have two choices. Thursday the 21st of February is our primary option. This is the day where the actors are free the most. The alternative date we chose is Sunday the 24th. This will be our filming date in the case one of the actors is absent. Most of us have to balance school work an actual job work in our lives. The result being a limited time frame. Thursday is the best option for a few reasons. One being the fact that we can record at dusk and night time. This is perfect because we want to make our horror film during "scary hours". If it happens Sunday, this is not possible as I have work at day time and Mario (group member) has it at night. If it is filmed at day, it reduces the scary effect substantially. The very beginning phase

   The first thing we have to do to prepare for our filming is brainstorm ideas. Making an into to a film is not easy, and requires a lot of parts to do it properly. The costumes that we end up wearing have to match the genre of the film. For instance, horror films are unique in this sense. The antagonist of the film should be wearing something entirely different from the protagonists. The killer must look scary so that the audience fears him. The other characters must look like every day people, so the audience can sympathize with them. The killer's clothing should be worn, stained, and grotesque to look at. Examples of this are Jason Vorhees from the series "Friday the 13th". He was underwater for a long time so his clothes are normally drenched and muddy. The hockey mask he wears is also weathered.
